The Spurgeon Fellowship with David Farley
April 22, 2021
Location: 9010 N. Indian Trail Rd., Spokane, Washing 99208Category: The Spurgeon Fellowship, Spokane | Coordinator: Laura Dobratz
On Thursday, April 22nd we look forward to welcoming David Farley as our featured speaker. David is the lead pastor of Grace Christian Fellowship in Spokane, Washington. He is a graduate of Washington State University, Covenant Theological Seminary (MATS), and Western Seminary (ThM, DMin). He has been married for 22 years to Heidi and is the father of five boys (ages 7-17). He loves church history, tennis, Seahawk football, and spending time with his family.
Dave will be addressing the topic of pastoral ministry. Many pastors are confused about the nature of pastoral ministry. As a result, they squander time, see little fruit, and God is not glorified. During the two sessions, The Pastor’s Charge is Preaching and The Pastor’s Work is Preaching, Dave will argue that the heart of pastoral ministry is the preparation and delivery of gospel centered expository sermons. When pastor’s adopt these convictions, they are adopting the apostle Paul’s convictions.
The Spurgeon Fellowship will be held on Thursday, April 22 from 10:30-2:30 at Indian Trail Church. If you would like to attend, please complete the registration form below. Registration will close on April 15th, or once capacity has been reached.
We are thankful for this upcoming opportunity to gather together and hope that you can join us!
